AccuSpeechMobile: Wizard-Based Voice-Enabling SDK's

RDE: A Voice Enabling Development Platform

The Rapid Development Environment (RDE) is a voice-enabling platform for developing device-resident voice-models of an existing mobile application. The voice model customizes the Universal Voice Utility providing a custom voice user interface (VUI), with all the voice capabilities for powering your existing application. RDE's voice-enabling platform SDK's are wizard-based development environments that quickly constructs your application's voice model in just days depending on the complexity of your existing application.

The platform is comprised of 3 application-specific SDK's (software development kits) for enabling Web/HTML, Thick Client, or Client-Server based mobile applications. The voice-enabling SDK creates the device-resident voice-model by replicating the data fields, controls, and the associated grammars for your mobile application. The completed 'voice model' is uploaded to the mobile device with the Universal Voice Utility. When the application is initiated, the Universal Voice Utility and the 'voice model' operate instantly with your application providing complete voice control and seamless integration with the application.

The Rapid Development Environment platform solution includes both an application prototyper and an integrated voice studio for each SDK. (Web, Thick-Client or Client Server)

  • Application prototypers quickly map all controls connected to the pages, screens, commands and fields related to the application. The application control data mapped are easily imported to the enabling SDK's Voice Studio for adding specific grammars that satisfy each field and command.
  • Voice Studio - Like the application prototypers, the Voice Studio is a PC or laptop based software development solution that creates the grammar files required by the target application. The Voice Studio also provides the "context" associated with the words and /or phrases that satisfy the fields that are voice enabled.
