Director

Franz Jaggar is a Managing Director of Berkshire Ventures, LLC, a private investment firm located in Northern Virginia, and is President of Commerce International, Inc.

Mr. Jaggar has overseen the company’s investments in the portfolio companies and sits on the Boards of Directors of Vangard Voice Systems, Inc. and Treadstone Technologies, Inc. He has served as Chief Financial Officer and senior financial advisor for several companies in the technology, residential home building, and retail industries. He has also been instrumental in financial modeling and charter applications to the Comptroller of the Currency for the development of four the new national banks. As an advisor to the banking industry, he also conducted the financial analysis in the efforts to privatize a major government-owned bank in the utility sector. Mr. Jaggar has advised on structuring significant equity investments in several companies as well in merger and acquisition transactions.

He has held previous positions as the Vice President for Corporate Development for a major management consulting firm specializing in government program evaluations and as a Manager for a major accounting firm in Washington, DC.
